Our Story

We're the people everyone
already calls for tech help

We finally decided to make it official.

↳ might as well help more than just our friends, right?

01 — The Beginning

Why we started this

For years, we've been the people our friends and family call when something goes wrong with their technology. Not because we work in tech — because we're patient, we actually listen, and we don't make people feel stupid for not knowing how to fix their wifi.

We realized that meaningful tech help isn't about showing off what you know. It's about sitting next to someone, understanding what they're trying to do, and helping them do it — without rushing, without jargon. It's about making people feel comfortable, not overwhelmed.

We kept getting calls. Friends. Neighbors. Parents of friends. Eventually we thought: if this is what we're already doing, why not help more people? That's how Marin Tech Guides started — two brothers-in-law who genuinely enjoy helping people with technology.

02 — The Team

Meet the team

The people you'll actually be working with.

(we promise we're friendly)

CK

Christian Kuhn

Co-founder

Christian is the kind of person who genuinely wants to understand what you're trying to do before jumping in to fix anything. He's patient, curious, and never makes you feel rushed. Comfortable with Apple devices, AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude, audio systems, and pretty much anything you throw at him.

BF

Ben Faibisch

Co-founder

Ben has a warm, easygoing approach that puts people at ease right away. He's the person you want explaining something complicated because he'll find the simplest way to say it — and make sure you actually understand before moving on. Kind-hearted and endlessly patient.

03 — Our Approach

How we think about our work

There's no rush

We work at your pace. We're here until you feel comfortable.

No jargon, ever

We explain things in plain English. Technology shouldn't feel like a foreign language.

We genuinely enjoy this

There's something satisfying about seeing someone go from frustrated to confident.

Your home, your devices, your trust

We treat your space, your devices, and your privacy with respect.

04 — For Family Members

For adult children looking for help for your parents

We know what it's like to want to help your parents with technology but not have the time, the patience, or the proximity.

We provide the patient, personal help your parents deserve — so you don't have to feel guilty, and they don't have to wait until Thanksgiving for you to fix their printer.

we're looking forward to meeting you
